Skyview Baptist Academy is a Christian school where the objective isn’t simply teaching the children how to make a living but helping the children to live a life for Christ.
We work closely with the parents to help each child reach their full potential.
Here is some information we want our parents to know!
We have morning devotions, Each student makes time to read their Bible and pray, and we have weekly chapel services. We have a strong emphasis on the developing an active spiritual life in each child.
Psalm 95:1, "O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation."
We offer both classroom and private lessons for beginners to advanced students. Even if you have never played an instrument we want to help you get started. We also have many instruments your child can use to get started. Also offered are Choir and singing lessons that can count towards elective credits in school.
We offer K3-K5 Preschool Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until noon. Let us help you get your child off to a solid start with Phonics, reading readiness and school preparedness. It's our desire to partner with you in tailoring a program for your specific child's needs.
We primarily use the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum. It has over 50 years of proven excellence in academics and is designed to teach biblical principles throughout the curriculum. This is a mastery based curriculum which ensures that a person masters each subject before proceeding to the next subject. This prevents learning gaps and help insure that you actually understand the material that is presented to you. The goal of our school is to help instilling self-management, personal character, and a love for Jesus Christ.
We have partnered with a nationally accredited Christian College to offer college classes to our students. These are actual college level courses administered by us but graded by the school. They cover topics such as, Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey , Life of Christ and others. Because these are dual enrollment courses they count towards high school graduation credits as well as college credits. Best of all, your student gets to take the classes at a substantial discount!
